  3.     Were the situation not so serious in the occupied
  4. territories, I would laugh at the comments made by Israeli
  5. Minister of Industry and Trade Ariel Sharon (INTERVIEW, April
  6. 17). Sharon refers to P.L.O. terrorists as having "more Jewish
  7. blood on their hands than anyone since the Nazis." It's
  8. sickening to continue bringing up the Nazis. While I'm not
  9. belittling the horror and tragedy caused by Hitler, it is ironic
  10. to hear supporters of Israel use that as an excuse for Israel's
  11. treatment of the Arabs. I have heard personal accounts of
  12. torture, injustice and persecution from relatives and friends
  13. living in the West Bank. I myself was detained and harassed for
  14. more than three hours in the Tel Aviv airport simply because my
  15. husband is Palestinian. The Arabs had nothing to do with the
  16. Holocaust.

  21. Israeli patriot instead of having to listen to comments from
  22. celebrity defeatist American Jewish wimps.
